These are the fireworks that illuminated Boston Commons on Saturday night at around 6:30 p.m. Inspiring!
New Year's is one of my favorite holidays. While newness is available to us every moment of every day, this holiday offers a sparkly reminder that change is possible. December 31st invites us to reflect on the closing year and to learn from it. Meanwhile, though, January 1st insists that we are not bound by the past: we can move forward free of limitations. That's just what I intend to do this year. How about you?
Last year I took a bunch of classes, got to know Boston a lot better, wrote my thesis, and graduated. A good year. Thank you, 2011.
This year, I hope to move to Boston, find work that satisfies me and my bills, and grow ever upward in happiness. Ready, 2012?
No matter your situation, the promises of New Year's apply equally to you. How will you harness the opportunities of a new year to craft the best year ever?
